Jonathan Earp began playing the guitar in 1966 and hasn't stopped yet. Over the years he has played just about every style and venue imaginable, specializing in the classical guitar.

He studied at York University and with Eli Kassner at whose guitar academy he taught for twelve years. He currently teaches guitar performance at Brock University in St. Catharines and at Mohawk College in Hamilton where he directs the Mohawk Guitar Ensemble. He also teaches privately in St. Catharines and Hamilton. Many of his students are now professional teachers and performers.

Jonathan performs, both as a solo artist and with small ensembles, in Toronto and throughout the Niagara Region where he currently resides with his family.
